1... Happy Halloween!

1st- OHMIGOSH, like.... three hours until the magical NaNoWriMo begins over here :] So excited!!

2nd- HAPPY HALLOWEEN :] I spent it giving out candy this year, but there always has to be a bench warmer. Hope your halloween was filled with movie marathons and endless buckets of candy galore!

NaNoWriMo in 3..

3 Days till NaNoWriMo starts guys! :] I'm so excited! I already have made a banner for my book, which I posted up here yesterday :] I have all of the little things worked out- more or less focusing on plot development at this point- but I'm almost ready!
I really hope I can do this. I encourage everyone to PLEASE join up and join the fun if you can/want. :]

Tyler Ward (YouTube Artist) has recently posted a featured artist of the week video and he chose Katy McAllister, who is absolutely amazing. Lost in Identities (Book Update 1)

As I think I mentioned before, I love creative writing and story writing in school- so I've taken it up as a hobby out on my own time. I have attempted to write a couple actual books- but they all end up half finished when I can't decide where they are going. I'm super crossing my fingers for this new one- named Lost in Identity. Its about a girl and her mother who run away from the cops- since they are wanted, only they do it alone. Each chapter kind of flips between each one- and they're constantly changing their identities so the characters are always going through something emotionally different.
I am excited to share- that in a period of two days, I've reached a word count of 5,718 :]
I'm very excited- and I'm going to be using this in NaNoWriMo. I'm cheating a little because I started early.. but oh well :]

New School

For the past 9 years of School for me (K-8), I've gone to a fancy private school, with amazing people but a ridiculous work load. This year I made the switch to the first public school I've ever been to. My best friend, who I never went to school with at all- transfered to the same school this year so we could be together in the same school. Ironicly, she hates the school more than her old one, and shes potentially going to transfer out in about 2 months. I'm alone at my new school and making new aquantinces is easy- friends are not. Ive met two girls who like to talk to me and thats about it almost. I don't know what to do without my best friend, but I have to keep reminding myself to put her needs infront of mine.
On the up side- I've got top marks in English and French 9 :]
